Its with a heavy heart that I write this summary. But, as a personal rule I don't let any defeat go by without learning an important lesson. Let me tell you about this clan. This was not a clan, but a SPECIES. They did not play by normal GOW tactics. They used lancers and pistols and other long range implements, things that your average squanderer is not adjusted to. We tried adapting, but they had too much experience on us. Trying to outshout one of these titans almost always ended in a downing, and when you're in a 3v3, being shorthanded hurts that much more. Now, back to that lesson I was talking about. When the bleed out is thirty seconds, as the gamebattles rules state, downing is much more desirable than a shotgun explosion. This means we should all work on our medium range tactics.

Now don't get me wrong, through this entire battle I was SURE we would cream their asses in a totally straight way. Even though I felt they out-skilled us, using teamwork, stealth and stupid-ass luck (example: A strange amount of lucky nade tosses and double tourqes) We bitched them on the first map. They eeked out a victory on the second. Naturally I picked escalation for the tie-breaker, which worked out prefectly! We were up 4 to 2, first to five. What could possibly go wrong??

We lost. Thats what.
