The Console Kings
Feburary 26 2007  Our second clan battle (or should I say, CLAN RAPE-AGE) against K2 was a stunning example of The Squanderers skill. The match was executed differently from the last. Each clan hosted a map of a map of thier choice for 6 rounds. The clan with the most wins of 12 rounds wins. This time around, we decided to trade The Piano Man, known for his levelheaded wisdom. For the shotgun swirling surgeon Jjkerr, whose trash talking mind games took a psychological toll on the enemy(not really). First off, clan K2 hosted on War Machine. Undoubtly this was to ensure quick access to the torque bow, which was Lucius Kanes weapon of choice. Mind you, Lucius was host for the map. Despite this, the match ended in a solid 6 to 3, K2. Winnning three rounds on K2 soil was indeed key to victory. As long as K2 does didn't get more than 2 wins on the next match, victory is ours. The next match was hosted by The Squanderers, the map was Fuel depot. Our preformance was nothing short of spectacular. Something was in the air that fateful monday night, and that something was KICK ASS GAS, and boy, did we ever KICK ASS! We rushed through the match, fighting over kills, and stepping over K2 corpses. A turnaround performace was displayed by Hockeytemper. Not only did he win a couple 1v1's in which, given the circumstances, he was undoubtedly the underdog. But during the last match, he tied for first place in points. For these reasons, I award him the MVP award for this Clan Battle! HockeyTemper gets the MVP award today!  |
